The Arc of South Florida currently operates two group homes in the Dade County area. They offer the residents an alternative to institutional living and an opportunity to integrate and interact with the community. The cheery, supportive atmosphere contributes to a secure, supervised family-like setting that accommodates the residents of each home.

The Arc SGI Home

A beautiful spacious, comfortable living group home for male and female adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities located in Palmetto Bay. The home is a large 4 bedroom/3 bathroom home that is ADA compliant, wheelchair accessible and has all the modern luxuries our clients can enjoy.

The home is located at 8725 SW 152 Street, Palmetto Bay, within a short distance to: Mall, Parks, Movie Theaters, Libraries, Retail Stores, Restaurants, Hospitals, etc.  At the SGI Home, we offer our individuals compassionate care in a clean and loving environment and provide high-quality services to each and every individual whom we serve. 

We respect our clients and offer them the training and assistance needed to live more independent lives. Our home provides full care including: medication administration, dietitian approved meals, snacks, laundry, grooming and personal care giving. We provide room & board, transportation, residential habilitation, and companion services.

The Arc Terrace Home

A beautiful, spacious and comfortable group home for male and female adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities located in Homestead. The home is a large 8 bedroom/3 bathroom home that is ADA compliant, wheelchair accessible and has all the modern luxuries our clients can enjoy.

The home is located at 720 SW Krome Terrace, Homestead, within a short distance to: Mall, Parks Movie Theaters, Libraries, Retail Stores, Restaurants, Hospitals, etc.  At the Terrace Home residential habilitation is provided to consumers in all areas of life, depending on their individual needs and their individual level of accomplishment.

The Arc Terrace Home is able to focus on assisting people to be independent and to gain increased choice and control over their lives. All activities in the home are driven by the desires and preferences of the people who live there. Staff members work with each person to help him or her increase skills of independence. This includes but not limited to personal care, social/recreational activities, housekeeping, cooking, laundry, money management, personal choices, mobility, social skills, health, and safety issues.
